Today was a pretty slow day because it was mostly just fillings except for two people. It started off with taking impressions of a patient's teeth. He needed a crown, so taking the impressions would give the lab a sense of how to make it when they get shipped to the lab. Next patient needed to get a filling in the upper right corner of the mouth, he got two done. Also, this tooth had a previous silver in one of the tooth and dentist now a days try to remove the silver fillings and insert a newer type of filling. The next two people came in need fillings, and one of the girls was given a stress ball because she was very anxious, but once everything was over she said it wasn't as bad as she made herself stress about. That was all I observed today, working 8-12 for 4 more hours! I am sad and excited for my last day tomorrow and can't wait to see what it has in store.
